Job Summary
Work as a senior programmer creating high quality online videogames as part of a dynamic interdisciplinary team with extensive experience creating top selling games for the Playstation3, Playstation2, Playstation, Xbox, Linux, and PC.
Duties
Design and implement the backend server infrastructure of an online game
Contribute to the product design to help produce a polished and compelling online experience
Learn and apply a broad range of leading edge programming, software design, and performance optimization techniques
Required Qualifications
Exceptional videogame backend server programming experience
Bachelor's degree majoring in computer science, computer engineering or a related field
Professional experience with client/server network programming and SQL databases
Ability to design multi-process real-time server architectures for performance and reliability
Talent for solving technical problems by writing optimized and well organized code in C/C++
Excellent oral and written English
Ability to work independently, solve complex challenges, and hit deadlines
Good cooperation and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with web technology including: PHP, Apache, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, Jquery, XML, Flash, and ActionScript
Experience with advanced web techniques such as cross-browser compatibility, security, and e-commerce
